Job Description
As a Junior Server Engineer, you will:
- Deliver large-scale projects, from planning to production
- Contribute to the platform’s infrastructure, architecture, and design solutions
- Create new services and maintain existing ones
- Implement your design solutions
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in backend development and server-side web technologies
- Experience using essential tools and operations (git, pull/push, branch/rebase, Maven/Gradle, build/test) and software development basics (simple SQL queries, modern architecture design, unit testing, software debugging)
- You understand applied computer science fundamentals including lists, sets, sorts and complexities
- You’re open minded, passionate about software development and a quick learner, able to work well in a fast-paced environment
About the team
We are the Wix Groups team. Our main product provides the ability to create groups based on common interests where you can post updates, share media, start discussions and much more (like FB, but better, and from a different perspective). Our product is embedded in all Wix environments, across Web and Mobile apps.
