Job Description
The UX Writing Internship program is designed to develop and grow driven and talented communicators to become exceptional UX writers. You’ll learn the fundamentals of UX writing, build relationships and contribute to impactful projects within a supportive framework with 1:1 mentorship.
Learn the fundamentals of UX writing and write for products applying the Wix methodology, tone and voice
Be part of every stage of the content cycle – from brainstorming on initial wireframes to shipping content to production, collecting feedback and implementing improvements
Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX designers, analysts and other stakeholders at Wix, as well as other writers from around the company
Juggle multiple projects at once while prioritizing your tasks and meeting tight deadlines
Conduct extensive product and user research
Play a key role in the successful localization of our product for our global audience (21 languages and counting)
Requirements
Native level English. This means not only impeccable grammar and spelling, but also a deep understanding of American English nuances, idioms, and cultural references
Recent graduate or current student in fields such as English or Communications, or transitioning from a different career path with a demonstrated interest in UX writing
Ability to work at least 30 hours per week, with exceptions during exam season for students
Interested in tech, has fantastic research skills, and is an excellent storyteller who can take complex concepts and make them clear and understandable
Looking to explore your passion for writing and are eager to learn the inner workings of the UX world
Self- motivated and thrives in a rapidly changing environment
A team player who can give and take feedback constructively and communicate effectively
Exceptional at task management and loves a good challenge (or 3)!
About the Team
We are Wix’s Writers Guild, a global team of 220 writers at Wix producing clear, consistent, and professional content that is honest and easy to understand. Our mission is to support Wix user success through our writing, craft stories about our products, inspire confidence, and create delightful user experiences every step of the way. Guided by the Wix tone and voice, we craft compelling copy to convey the right message and help our users succeed.
