Job Description
As the FED Infrastructure Team Lead, you'll lead a full-stack infrastructure team to build high-scale, high-impact internal platforms and tools for hundreds of frontend developers at Wix. You'll be responsible for shaping a strong team culture, driving technical excellence, and ensuring impactful delivery. In your day-to-day, you will:
Lead a team developing high-scale internal platforms and tools for frontend developers
Support and mentor team members, providing feedback and growth opportunities
Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation to rollout and continuous iteration
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineering stakeholders
Recruit, onboard, and integrate new team members to shape a collaborative team model
Drive a culture of ownership, experimentation, and fast, high-quality delivery
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a team leadership or significant technical leadership role
Proven track record of leading major initiatives and delivering high-quality results
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js
Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Rollup), CI/CD systems, and cloud/backend development
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teammates and partners
Passion for developer experience and building tools that elevate engineering workflows

We’re the Infrastructure group within Wix’s Frontend Engineering (FED) Guild, focused on empowering every frontend developer at Wix to work faster and ship higher-quality code. Our mission is to build and maintain high-impact tools that improve developer velocity, code quality, and performance.
As a Team Lead, you’ll guide the team from a collection of talented individual contributors into a cohesive, high-performing unit. You'll work on developer-centric infrastructure, including scalable testing platforms, performance tools, standardization frameworks, and AI-powered solutions like automated migrations and intelligent bootstrapping.
