Job Description
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll take ownership of product development tasks, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the stability and performance of our services. In your day-to-day, you will:
Take ownership of product development tasks
Collaborate with product owners, FED, mobile developers, QA, BA, and other backend developers to design and implement product features and improvements
Improve and ensure service stability and performance
Share technical expertise and perform code reviews
Mentor less senior developers
Requirements
5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with JVM-based languages
Ability to evaluate engineering decisions and identify pros and cons
Strong knowledge of microservice architecture
Ability to debug and investigate production issues
Familiarity with CI/CD practices
Collaboration, responsibility, and willingness to learn
About the Team
We are the Get Paid team. We’re a multidisciplinary team of developers, product managers, designers, business analysts and QA engineers. We’re responsible for tools such as invoices, pay links, proposals, price quotes and receipts, and our goal is to help Wix users make sales, charge their customers and provide post-sale financial information. Our tools allow Wix users to collect over $200 million every month.
