Job Description
As an xEngineer in the Automations team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the Wix Automations platform, used by millions of users and various internal and external applications. Your work will directly impact the revenue of both Wix and our users.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Take projects from ideation to production, including technical design, coding, and beyond
- Design and build scalable backend systems using modern technologies and best practices
- Participate in designing APIs, mechanisms and abstractions for the Automations platform
- Develop new solutions and improve existing ones in areas such as production, testing and performance
- Collaborate closely with a highly experienced team
Requirements
- Experienced Backend Developer with proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, C#, or similar languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges
- Experience with distributed systems, system design, and code quality practices
- Proven architecture and design skills across a wide range of technologies
- Self-driven, independent, and a strong team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
