Job Description
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Lead to join our Kyiv Design Hub team. You’ll lead a team of designers through the entire design process, ensuring that the work aligns with Wix’s high standards of design excellence.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Lead design vision and strategy, ensuring consistency and quality
Mentor the design team, providing feedback and fostering growth
Act as Kyiv Design Hub's representative within the global company
Encourage creativity, pushing the boundaries of web design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with project goals
Ensure high standards by reviewing and refining designs
Communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders
Continuously improve design processes and workflows
Keep up with the latest web design trends and technologies
Requirements
6+ years of professional web design and brand experience with a strong portfolio
Proven experience in leading design teams and driving design strategy
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Creative problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
A deep passion for web design and user experience
Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment

At Wix Design Guild, we are a multidisciplinary in-house design studio of over 300 designers globally, with a mission to implement a cohesive and coherent brand strategy across all visual assets at Wix. Now, we’re expanding our creative footprint with the launch of the Kyiv Design Hub—a new center of innovation, collaboration, and design excellence. This hub will serve as a creative powerhouse, bringing together talented designers to tackle strategic design tasks at scale, enhancing the variety and velocity of our in-house design capabilities. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and user-first solutions, the Kyiv Design Hub will play a key role in shaping the future of design at Wix.
