Work on cutting-edge technologies to help Wix Bookings become an industry leader
Take responsibility for the design and architecture of your work
Tackle tough problems and find creative ways to solve them
Ensuring that code quality, performance, and security standards are met
Solve complex problems in simple ways using TDD and clean code
Use CI/CD workflows to release code to production on a daily basis
Qualifications:
A Backend Developer with 3+ years experience building consumer web or mobile products
You quickly grasp large, complex systems and their inner workings
You’re experienced with software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, immutability, etc.) and are aware of bad practices and anti-patterns
You’re comfortable using a variety of tools, libraries, and frameworks and feel at home in a distributed cloud-based system
You write code that’s simple to read, understand and maintain, and you know how to debug and investigate production issues
You recognize bad code and continuously search for better solutions
You’re a passionate team player who can reason and communicate your opinions, as well as accept other people’s approaches
