Job Description

As the Team Lead of the Solutions Engineering team for Wix Enterprise, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of skilled Solutions Engineers, ensuring they strike the right balance between pre-sales professionals and technical experts. You will play a key role in shaping the strategy and direction of the team, while also working hands-on to help our potential customers envision how Wix can benefit their business.

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers, providing sales-related and technical guidance

  • Support the team’s understanding of business challenges and technical requirements of prospective clients, and collaborate with various departments, delivering full solution architectures

  • Oversee all pre-sales activities, including discovery, value-based demos, proof of concepts and technical competitive analysis, ensuring the team demonstrates how proposed solutions meet and exceed customer expectations

  • Collaborate closely with sales managers, product managers, and other stakeholders, being the expert on technical challenges

  • Work alongside fulfillment teams and account managers to ensure smooth delivery of Wix Enterprise products post-sale

  • Develop and implement best practices and processes within the Solutions Engineering team to optimize performance, customer engagement and technical delivery

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position

  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, driving both individual and team success in a high-paced environment

  • Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively to different audiences, including C-suite executives

  • Experience with client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and familiarity with analytics and data platforms, cloud platforms and mobile development

  • Demonstrated success in building deep technical scopes based on customer requirements and guiding teams towards technical wins
