Job Description
- Support and optimize our automation frameworks and services
Design and implement (hands-on) the next generation of E2E automation solutions and tools, based on our clients needs
Promote our automation strategy and culture amongst the engineering teams
Scale Wix's automation frameworks and services as well as support existing and new third party integrations
Boost Wix’s automation coverage by implementing new tests and refactoring existing test suites based on your vast technical knowledge
Take active part in code reviews
Be a part of Wix’s innovative culture, which includes proposing, convincing and executing any activity that you find contributes to Wix’s success
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the automation of web products (Puppeteer, Playwright, Node, Jest)
A motivated automation developer with experience using JS/TS and JVM technologies in a web environment
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and automation strategy
Experienced in maintaining CI/CD jobs and building automation frameworks from scratch
You care about clean code, code design, and you’re happy to work independently and take responsibility for your decisions
You’re not intimidated by tough challenges, and producing high-quality solutions is important to you
You’re an independent learner with the ability to lead a project from A to Z
Mentoring experience and presentation skills - an advantage
About the team
We are Wix’s Automation Infrastructure team, where lead automation developers shape and design Wix’s automation architecture and tools. We set the tone and standards of our automation development culture, combining aspects of engineering, analytics, DevOps, technical and product management. We also mentor and help other automation engineers improve and sharpen their skills while making sure that our automation services across the entire company are effective, seamless and easy to use.
