Job Description
Join our Mobile Guild as a React Native Engineer and play a key role in building a new chatbot-based application from scratch. You’ll join a newly-formed team focused on building the foundation for intelligent, dynamic AI characters. Our goal is to enable users to create rich, interactive personas — from playful companions to powerful AI-driven guides — that seamlessly integrate across multiple experiences. In this role, you’ll help define how users design, personalize, and interact with digital characters, unlocking new possibilities in storytelling, communication, and play.
In your day-to-day, you’ll:
Develop and maintain our mobile application using React Native
Build a new chatbot-centric product, integrating with various APIs and services
Own the entire feature lifecycle — from requirement gathering to deployment
Present and advocate for architectural decisions for mobile applications
Participate in technical discussions to enhance developer experience and optimize performance
Requirements
4+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year with React Native
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native frameworks
Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party libraries
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with web development – an advantage
Experience with video and audio streaming — an advantage
Experience working with large language models (LLMs) or AI-powered user experiences — an advantage

We are Wix’s Mobile Guild. We develop Wix Mobile applications, empowering our users to manage their businesses on the go, including selling products, offering services, and building communities. Our mission is to enable anyone worldwide to build any mobile application using our infrastructure. As a team, we’re spread across 40+ groups and are all experts in our respective fields. We build our apps using a unique multi-module architecture that allows us to work together independently. We take ownership of what we do and enjoy taking on any technical challenge that stands in our way.
