Job Description
Join the Wix Headless team, where you'll build and own products that give Wix users the flexibility to create and grow their online presence in new ways.
Our team owns the product end to end - from the first interaction at the top of the funnel, through activation and conversion to premium, to the ongoing experience of our users. This means you'll work on problems that combine deep engineering challenges with product thinking and have a direct, measurable impact on key business KPIs.
- You'll move between designing backend systems, solving architectural challenges, building product capabilities, and improving user experiences.
- You'll have the opportunity to understand the entire product journey and influence both how we build and what we build.
- We're looking for hands-on engineers who enjoy seeing the bigger picture. People who can take an ambiguous problem, understand the user and business need behind it, collaborate across disciplines, and drive a solution from idea to production and beyond.
At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and solid backend development experience.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and experience designing scalable systems.
- Experience owning and delivering production systems end to end.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the versatility to work across different technical and product challenges.
- Product mindset - you care about the user experience and business impact of what you build, not just the implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and drive projects from idea to production.
