About us
We’re at the core of building and maintaining the entire production and CI/CD environment. Our mission is to improve production performance and resilience to ensure 99.99% uptime and also drive our developer velocity. We pioneer new solutions to support the massive scale of Wix’s user traffic. We also work to modify and create cutting-edge services and robust tools for the entire developer community—both Frontend and Backend.

Large scale
We define the entire infrastructure for Wix’s network and security standards while maintaining our global infrastructure in data centers around the world. We do things at a scale that has never been done before at Wix. Since our platform powers +220M users worldwide and their sites process billions of requests daily, we need to provide a reliable and secure infrastructure to handle these requests with no downtime.

There’s a lot of freedom and independence in decision-making in our group. We’re given the resources to succeed and encouraged to pursue cutting-edge technologies to solve our unique challenges. We also play a role in advising developers from across Wix when they build something new.

Our work has an immediate effect on the Wix infrastructure, from developers in the company all the way to our millions of users worldwide.

Wix developers rely on the software solutions we build and develop. In many cases, we’re the first to solve some of our unique challenges, as we can’t Google our solutions or use existing code. This allows us to invent our own playbook.
