Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a role in developing our observability infrastructure. You will:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Manage infrastructure of Kubernetes from different flavors on top of AWS cloud at scale.
- Use your expertise in Linux and networking fundamentals to enhance system performance, security, and reliability
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in live production systems
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes as a cluster administrator
- Proficiency in Linux and are well-versed in networking fundamentals
- Proven experience with AWS
- Strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- Familiarity with languages like Python and Go
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
