Job Description
We're seeking a visionary Production Architect to lead the technical direction of our production platform group. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to oversee and design cutting-edge, cross-functional systems that power our global operations. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions & drive architectural excellence.
- Develop and implement architectural strategies for production systems
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals and objectives
- Manage technical agendas, including contributing to project planning, execution and reviewing
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, operations and quality assurance teams
- Act as a liaison between production engineering and other departments to facilitate smooth workflows and communication
- Advocate for production engineering initiatives and innovations both internally and externally
- Implement best practices and standards to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in system architecture and technical leadership roles
- Extensive experience with large-scale, distributed and fault-tolerant production system architectures, including cloud and on-premises solutions
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex technical challenges and optimizing production systems.
- Data driven, able to support architectural design with data points and KPIs
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience in mentoring engineers, influencing cross-functional teams and building effective cross-departmental working relationships
