Job Description
Wix Enterprise is seeking a Director of Business Development & Growth to lead our top-of-funnel strategy and execution. This pivotal role defines where we grow (markets), who we target (ICP), and how we consistently generate high-quality, predictable pipeline that directly fuels scalable revenue. You'll develop our strategic go-to-market approach and lead a high-performing Business Development team to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion:
Own the strategic foundation for pipeline creation by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing high-impact markets and segments where Wix Enterprise can win.
Develop and lead go-to-market strategies tailored to priority segments, aligning positioning, messaging, and outreach with the needs of high-value enterprise customers.
ICP Definition & Operations:
Define and continuously refine our ICP through in-depth market research, performance data, and cross-functional collaboration.
Build and optimize operational systems to track ICP fit, market coverage, and outbound effectiveness, ensuring efforts are targeted, measurable, and scalable.
Pipeline & Revenue Ownership:
Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for Wix Enterprise, setting outbound strategy, recommending performance targets, and ensuring pipeline creation is predictable, high-quality, and aligned to growth priorities.
Analyze pipeline trends by segment and source, identify gaps or opportunities, and apply insights to optimize campaign focus and improve conversion rates.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BDR team to effectively execute outbound strategies and achieve pipeline goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Market Intelligence:
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Product, and Sales Operations for seamless alignment on strategy, messaging, tools, and processes.
Identify potential partnerships or channels that enhance access to target markets and accelerate pipeline creation.
Stay deeply informed on industry trends, buyer behavior, and competitor strategies to keep business development efforts agile and effective.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or go-to-market roles, with a demonstrated track record of driving top-of-funnel growth in B2B SaaS environments
2+ years of experience managing and scaling high-performing teams, with proven ability to mentor and develop business development or SDR/BDR teams
Deep experience in enterprise SaaS, with a strong understanding of complex sales cycles, outbound strategies, and ICP-driven growth
Proven ability to build and execute strategic GTM playbooks aligned to evolving market dynamics and growth priorities
Exceptional skills in market segmentation, ICP definition, and campaign strategy, including the ability to translate insights into scalable outbound programs
Demonstrated success in pipeline ownership and revenue accountability, including setting performance targets, forecasting pipeline health, and driving conversion
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across Marketing, Product, Sales Enablement, and Sales Ops to ensure alignment and execution
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and apply insights to continuously improve pipeline effectiveness
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a bias for action, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills tailored to both internal stakeholders and executive audiences

The approximate base compensation is $115,000-$125,000. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package.
The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
