Job Description
As an Experienced Product Designer (UX & UI) in the Wix Design System team, you’ll play a central role in shaping and evolving Wix’s design foundations.
- Manage the entire design cycle, from research to crafting pixel-perfect UI for every scenario and state, all the way to handoff to development.
- Conduct extensive product research based on data, usability sessions, support tickets, and competitive analysis.
- Educate and mentor designers across Wix about best practices for using the Design System.
- Define and maintain clear contribution and maintenance processes for components, from creation to adoption.
- Drive consistency across multiple products while balancing flexibility and scalability.
- Deliver thoughtful, high-quality visual design in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, brand designers, UX writers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong focus on design systems.
- Deep proficiency in Figma — including variables, tokens, components, and themes.
- Experience with large-scale production design systems and multi-product environments.
- Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Our mission is to design the best user experience for all Wix users. UX plays a crucial role in product creation, from research and ideation to design and development. Post-launch, we use quantitative and qualitative methods to test, observe the data, speak to users, and gather insights to improve.
